Introducing UltiHash 1.3.0 - smarter storage, more control

We’re excited to announce the release of UltiHash 1.3.0, packed with new features and enhancements

We’re excited to announce the release of UltiHash 1.3.0, our latest version packed with powerful new features and enhancements designed to make your object storage even faster, smarter, and more flexible. If you're building high-throughput pipelines, managing compressed datasets, or optimizing for cost and control, this release is for you.

What’s new in 1.3.0?

✅ Pay-as-you-go licensing

UltiHash now offers a flexible pay-as-you-go license, making it easier to scale without committing to fixed plans. You’ll only be charged for the resources you actually use - ideal for bursty workloads or exploratory projects.

✅ Support for AWS Signature V4 pre-signed URLs

We’ve added support for AWS Signature Version 4 pre-signed URLs, enabling secure, time-limited access to objects. Perfect for sharing files externally without exposing your storage to the public.

✅ More helpful HTTP status messages

Debugging just got easier. With more descriptive HTTP status messages, you’ll get clearer insights into what’s happening under the hood, helping you troubleshoot issues faster.

✅ Granular CORS settings

Fine-tune access control with enhanced per-bucket CORS configuration. This gives you better control over cross-origin resource sharing, especially in complex front-end architectures or multi-tenant environments.

✅ Bypass deduplication for speed

Need raw speed? You can now bypass deduplication on writes when you know your data is already highly compressed or non-redundant. This unlocks additional throughput for workloads like backup ingestion or machine learning datasets.

Get started on Kubernetes

UltiHash is easy to deploy and scale in modern environments. If you’re running on Kubernetes, we’ve got you covered with step-by-step guides in our official documentation.

This release reflects our ongoing mission: to make object storage more intelligent, efficient, and developer-friendly. As always, we’d love to hear your feedback and see what you’re building with UltiHash - drop us a line at hello@ultihash.io.

Stay tuned - more updates coming soon!
